Dr. Katherine Eccles graduated from Stony Brook University with her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2016 and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the VA Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. Her approach to dental treatment is thorough and conscientious, making patient education and comfort her top priority. Dr. Katie has completed extensive continuing education courses in digital dental technology, chairside customized esthetics, and orthodontics. She is committed to lifelong learning to bring her patients the latest techniques and technology to provide exceptional dental care.
Dr. Katie graduated Summa Cum Laude, ranking number 1 in her dental class, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She was honored with the Hanau Excellence in Prosthodontics “Best of the Best Award” and was recognized for excellence by the Northeastern Society of Periodontics and the New York Academy of Dentistry. Dr. Katie received the OKU Dr. William Kramer Award of Excellence based on character and promise for future advancement of the profession and service to humanity and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity Award for earning the highest academic standing. Dr. Katie spent her summer in Madagascar on a dental mission trip in 2015.

Dr. Katie and her husband, a local Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon, love spending time with their 3-legged rescue dog Addie, traveling, cheering for the Buffalo Bills, making homemade pasta, visiting with their niece and nephews, and exploring the city that captured their hearts, RVA!
